October Empties | What I've Used Up this Month!

Hi guys! I'm so sorry for my lack of posts, I misplaced my camera for a while and just found it! I'm running late on my empties and got them up as soon as I could! I finished TONS of products in the month of October, which is really exciting! I hope you all enjoy, and if you have posted any empties for October, feel free to share in the comments!

Jordana Forever Flawless Pressed Powder
I absolutly love this powder! It has a nice medium coverage, keeps my skin matte all day, and best of all, only costs me a dollar!

Loreal True Match Super Blendable Blush in Baby Blossom
I didn't really love this blush, mainly due to the face that it has an over load of sparkles. If it was matte, the baby pink color is super gorgeous and flattering. I had two, so I figured I'd just finish it up.

Nature By Canus Hydrating Facial Scrub
Before the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit cleanser came into the picture, this was my favorite face wash. Its a very gentle scrub that removes makeup quite well. Although I loved it, twenty dollars is way too much for any face wash.

Caress Whipped Souffle Body Wash
This is honestly the most AMAZING body wash! I found it at a discount store and unfortunatly, this product has been long since discontinued. It smells like heaven and is a whipped cream texture. Its extremely moisturizing but lathers well at the same time.

Suntastic Feel EDP
This was not a bad perfume,( I believe its a dupe for some JLO perfume) but It just didn't smell right on my body. I used it as a room spray just to get some good use out of it though ;) It was a fresh smelling perfume, but it turned floral on my skin.

StarFruit hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works
I adore the Bbw hand sanitizers, they're so adorable and convenient! This one smelled like clementines, my favorite fruit!:)

Lumene Time Freeze Eye Perfecting Treatment
I believe I got this free with another Lumene product. I'm assuming its for those who are older and maybe are beginning to see wrinkles or something. I don't have those yet, so personally I didn't notice a difference with this treatment.

Olio Di Argan Shampoo
I loved this shampoo. It was only about seven dollars at Marshalls and was great for my hair. It left it feeling soft and healthy, unlike other shampoos that strip it and leave it feeling dry. Argan Oil is pretty high up on the ingredients list, which drew me to this shampoo as well. If you happen to see it at your local Marshall's or TJ Maxx, try it out!

(Just a side note, keep on the lookout, I'm going to be having a giveaway for a Limited Edition Oscar De la Renta scarf soon!)

Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Oil Free Facial Cleanser Review

If you typically read my blog, you most likely know that I struggle with acne. I recently posted about a bunch of products that were doing great things for my skin, but again my skin seems to have changed and it is breaking out like crazy. I've always heard great things about the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash in Pink Grapefruit on Youtube and blogs, but never really thought twice about it until recently.

What It Claims to do: With an uplifting blast of grapefruit plus vitamin C, this unique formula clears blemishes and blackheads. Eliminates oil and dirt without over drying.

How great is the packaging? I was so happy to see that this cleanser had a pump. Its very convenient, and there is less chance of wasting product. I also have to admit, I was also drawn to the fact that the cleanser is pink. I mean, who can resist that?

During the first few days of trying this product, I loved it. It has a brilliant lather and smells delicious. Best of all, after washing my face with it, not a trace of makeup is left! I apply toner to a cotton pad, wipe it all over, and not a thing is left on the cotton pad. I was so amazed at how easily it removed 100% of my makeup.

After about a week or so, I knew that this was definitely one of the most amazing products I've ever come across. My blackheads are significantly decreased, and the breakout I had when I started using this cleanser? GONE. Now I don't doubt that I'll have a pimple here and there while using this face wash due to hormones and such, but I'm honestly so impressed with the performance of this cleanser. It contains salicylic acid, which helps treat and prevent breakouts. Previously, I was using a $20.00 cleanser, and it didn't even compare. The pink grapefruit cleanser is certainly budget friendly, something I always look for in skincare.

The only downside to this product (Which comes along with all acne clearing products) is that it drys out my skin. I expected this of the cleanser, but paired with a moisturizer, it doesn't seem to be a problem, and it doesn't seem to over dry.

Overall, I recommend this to anyone with acne. It's an amazing, wallet friendly cleanser that will treat and prevent those pesky breakouts.

Victoria's Secret Moisture Luxe Hand Cream With Shea Butter Review

During the fall and winter, my hands are constantly dry due to the cold weather and non-stop handwashing-(Everyone gets sick!) Because of this, I'm always on the lookout for a good hand cream to keep my hands soft and moisturized. While I was at Victoria's Secret last week, I was excited when I saw the new Moisture Luxe Hand Creams. I had to pick one up of course!

What Victoria's Secret says about this product:
Wrap yourself in Luxurious Kiss, an indulgent blend of sandalwood and black plum from our limited-edition VS Fantasies Shea Collection. This intensive hand cream is enriched with moisturizing pure shea butter and replenishing avocado oil. Massage on for 24-hour moisture and sensual scent. Skin feels ultra-soft, smooth and touchable. Live out your beauty fantasy in our most popular scented body care, exclusively at Victoria’s Secret.

I got the scent Luxurious Kiss, which is a mixture of sandalwood and black plum. When applied, this scent is a great mix of floral and fruity. I hate smells that are completely floral, so I loved the fruity touch this included. The scent doesn't last long, but I don't really expect the scent of a hand cream to last like a body mist or perfume would.

As for packaging, I love it. The packaging was what initially drew me to this product. It comes in a gorgeous, classy, metallic tube with cute flower details on it. I have to say, although the cap looks cute, its a bit of a pain to get back on especially after you've applied the hand cream and your hands are slippery. I'd much rather prefer a flip top cap.

Now about how it works: After applying the cream, it didn't immeadiately sink into my skin, but took a bit of rubbing in. After it sunk it, my skin felt so soft and smooth, and it has really been helping to repair my hands and protect them from getting dry. My favorite way to use this hand cream is to apply a thick layer at night and cover my hands in aloe gloves to keep the moisture in. When I wake up my hands feel super moisturized and soft.

The only drawback to this product I was able to find was its ingredients. The second ingredient in this product is mineral oil, which has been found to not be good for the skin. It has been said to block out the natural moisture from your skin and ages skin prematurely. Luckily, I don't see that my hands have been dry due this cream. As I mentioned, they're much softer than normal. But I don't like that this may prematurely age skin. If you're not a fan of mineral oil, watch out for this product. Another ingredient that has become extremely unpopular that it contains is parabens. I'm not overly afraid of them, I just stay wary.

Overall, despite the mineral oil and parabens that this product contains, I've found myself loving both the scent and performance. The VS Fantasies Shea Collection also comes in a body cream/butter, lotion , and fragrance mist.

Price: $14.00 USD

*Bath and Body Works Mini Candle in Mahogany Teakwood (and a coupon for $10 off a three wick candle!)
*EBOOST Orange Flavor

Initial Thoughts:
The NYC IndividualEyes Custom Compact looks beautiful. The shades are a bit dramatic for everyday wear, but I'm looking forward to doing a look with these. I'm excited that it comes with a primer and highlight shade as well!

I love false lashes, but the Kiss Ever Pro Lashes look a bit on the dramatic side for me. Oh well, we'll see how they look on!

My obsession with Bath and Body Works Candles is huge. I love the Mahogany Teakwood scent, smells like Abercrombie & Fitch. I can't wait to burn this one!

I love adding flavor to my drinks, so the EBOOST will prove interesting. I hope it tastes okay and that I can stomach the flavor! I do love orange, but those healthy drinks are sometimes ehh..

The Goody Simple Styles Spin Pins look so difficult. I normally wear my hair in a pony tail for work, so it will be fun to switch things up with these pins.

September Empties | What I've Used Up This Month!

Hey guys, I'm so excited that October is here now! My birthday is in October, and I also love seeing all of the Holiday decorations come out in stores and the leaves changing colors is just beautiful.
I can't say I did all that well this month when it came to finishing up products, but I'm working super hard to finish up more for next month! Hopefully I'll be able to get rid of some makeup products, my stash is huge and nothing seems to be getting finished!

Bain De Terre Passion Flower Moisturizing and Color Preserving Conditioner:
I really did not enjoy this, the conditioner is such a thin consistency that if you have thick hair, like mine, you need tons to cover it. It also doesn't stay in the hair at all, so you can't leave it in while you shave your legs or wash your body for extra moisturizing benefits. For that matter, it wasn't even moisturizing at all!

Elf Eyelid Primer in Sheer:
I love this product! For only a dollar, it keeps my eyeshadows on all day without creasing or fading. Definitely recommend this one!

Philosophy Happy Birthday Beautiful Shower Gel:
I got this for my birthday last year from Sephora and didn't even get around to using it until just recently! It creates a nice, rich lather, but unfortunatly doesn't have too much of a scent. I've used Philosophy before, and the shower gels always have a great scent, maybe this was just a bad bottle.

Lumene Vitamin C Day Cream:
This is just a cute little travel size, but I really loved this cream! Its not too thick as the name suggests, but a nice medium consistency. It moisturizes nicely and smells lovely, like oranges!

Love To Kiss Body Lotion from Victoria's Secret:
I wasn't too much a fan of this lotion, but I decided to just use it up so I didn't waste it. Its a flowery/fruity scent and I'm more of a sweet scent girl. This was a nice, light daytime lotion.

Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme:
I apologize if you find this gross, but I had to share. This product is amazing! First, it smells heavenly, like coconut and mint. It also moisturizes like you couldn't believe. It left my feet super soft after leaving it on all night. my favorite thing about this cream is that it is 99.4% Natural (The fragrance is the only ingredient thats not natural!) This is such a wonderful product, and for only $9.00, I definitely recommend it!

There you have it! Another month down :)
Hope you all enjoyed my favorites this month,
and as always, leave me a comment! ♥

L'Oreal True Match Lumi Review

Lately, I've been all about trying new foundations. I've been enjoying the one I'm currently using (Maybelline Superstay) but I wanted to try some new ones, and see if theres something out there that I enjoy even more. L'Oreal's True Match Lumi has always appealed to me, I mean who wouldn't want luminous radiant skin, just by using foundation? I purchased it in the shade N3, natural buff, which oddly enough is a bit too dark for my skin tone.

What L'Oreal Claims: True Match™ Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup combines 3 powerful ingredients that work to improve your complexion the more you wear them. 40% pure water for all-day hydration. Antioxidants and Vitamins C and E for improved clarity and skin tone. And Liquid Light Technology for an instant, luminous glow. Isn’t it Time You Met your Match?

The foundation itself is very liquid-y and light feeling. Already after seeing the texture I had a bad feeling about the coverage I was going to get from it.

After reading multiple reviews on this foundation, I decided that it would have a nice, medium coverage. Oh was I wrong. It has a super light coverage that didn't even cover up my redness, never mind my acne scarring and acne! Now I didn't except it to do all that, but I atleast expected something out of it. It has a bit more coverage than a tinted moisturizer, but definitely not a light/medium coverage. If you have dry skin, beware as well because It accentuates any dry patches.

Since I don't want to completely bash this foundation, I will say that it looks nice if you use a boat load of concealer and setting powder. After doing so, It looked quite nice and radiant. I might even say that I liked how it looked.

Using foundation alone, no setting powder or concealer.
You can see redness, and blemishes with no improvement.

Foundation with setting powder and concealer

As for wear, my skin doesn't tend to get super oily throughout the day, due to my acne treatments and what not. It is actually somewhat dry now. But, after wearing this foundation for eight hours, my forehead has never been so shiny. I was almost in disbelief how shiny it was, and kept trying to tell myself it was the "Luminous" part of it, LOL. As I said, I even used a medium coverage setting powder, which is great at controlling oil and I still had this mess on my forehead at the end of the day.

L'Oreal also claims that this will help improve skin tone and complexion over time. I havn't noticed that at all, but then again I've only been using it a week. It's possible it could help, but I can't see it doing that much.

When it comes to packaging, I'm in love! It's rare to find a drugstore foundation with a pump, and this one has it! To be honest, that was part of the appeal to me, along with the super luxiourious looking glass bottle with metallic letters on it. Its definitely an eye catching foundation.

To be honest, I'm not even sure who to recommend this foundation to, because no matter your skin type, you'll most likely get oily from this. I guess you could say if you only need a light coverage foundation for a short period of time, you'd enjoy the nice luminous finish you get from this. Otherwise, leave it.

Price: $12.99 USD at major drugstores and mass retailers.

Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips Nude Palette Review and Swatches

It may come as a surprise to you that I'm one of the few that doesn't own one of the two Urban Decay Naked Palettes. I've always wanted one, but haven't been able to afford one of them. That being said, I've been on the lookout for a cheaper alternative and finally found it in the Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips Nude Palette!

Personally, I've always been a huge fan of Physician's Formula. I think they have great quality products for even better prices. Their eyeshadows are one of my favorite, super pigmented and beautiful consistency.

The palette comes with a strange, slanted sponge tip applicator that I think is most likely useless, but could be good for lining the eyes.

The Nude Palette contains nine different shades of shadows, all cool-toned neutrals and ranging from light shimmering ivory, to a deep black. It has some gorgeous taupe shades and even a light pink for endless looks.

In terms of packaging, just look at this palette! Its so gorgeous! I love the lace overlay, its beautiful and was what really caught my eye about it. So looking at it, it's eye catching, but the layout of the shadows? Not so much. I think keeping all the shadows in one row may look lovely, but it's definitely not practical. Using the smaller shadows can prove to be a challenge as you don't want to get them all over the other shadows next to them. I wish this palette was divided in a better way, because I hate having to use tiny crease brushes and such to pick up the colors.

I'm so happy to say that the pigmentation on these is fantastic. I've seen other reviews on this palette saying that the pigmentation just wasn't there, but I'm very impressed. The shadows are buttery smooth to the touch and have great color pay off. They blend like a dream and its really easy to sheer them out or keep them dark for a dramatic look. This palette is super versatile, which is one of my favorite things about it. I've been wearing different looks with this everyday, and It's perfect for a natural look for work, or a smokey dramatic eye for going out.

All swatched without primer

Overall, I'm highly satisfied with this palette. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a cheaper alternative to the Naked palettes, or, if you have the Naked palette, anyone who loves nude/natural shadows!

Price: $10.00 USD

Face of the Day & Update on Where I've Been

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a lovely day today. I thought I'd update you on the things going on in my life so I could give you a better explanation as to why I haven't been able to blog quite as much as I previously was.

I work retail. If that doesn't explain enough on it's own as to why my schedule is always changing and hectic, then let me go further. Christmas is already here in the eyes of retail, and we are running around like crazy trying to set it up. If you work retail as well, you know Christmas is the biggest and busiest time of the year and it takes a lot out of you. I've been working over night shifts and extra hours as my schedule demands to meet their needs and its been making me exhausted. On top of that, I am also currently in college. Granted, I am only taking one class at the moment but I'm putting my all into it. As many of you know its very expensive, and I think it's important that I do my best. When I'm not busy doing one of these two things, I also have my personal life to attend to as well. I've been trying to see my boyfriend as much as possible, because his schedules overwhelmed as well at the moment and any time we can make together is valuable to me.

If I was able to blog everyday, trust me I would. Even twice a day if I could, I love it just that much. But, unfortunatly that's just not realistic. I thought this post could help some of you understand where I've been, and that I'm not neglecting blogging. I've lost followers in the past few week since I haven't been posting every other day as I typically do, and I'm sorry for that. I'm very thankful for those of you that havn't unfollowed me, and realize I do have my own life that is very busy!

Just so this post didn't turn out as a bunch of talking, I decided to include a face of the day for you that I had on today! This is my basic, everyday makeup routine. When I'm unsure of how to do my makeup, I always fall back on this.

Smashbox Hydrating Primer

Covergirl Simply Ageless Concealer

TRESemme Nourishing Rituals Rejuvenating Mud Masque Review

Lately I've been on the hunt for a great conditioner or treatment for my over dried hair.
I've been wearing it down more, now that the weather is cooling, and I've noticed just how many split ends my hair has!
It also tends to feel very brittle, from the constant straightening I do to it.
Now don't get me wrong, I always use heat protectant and condition it, I just havn't found the product that really works great for my specific hair needs.
Last week, While at Target, I decided to take a peek down the hair care aisle and found this intriguing new product.
This was something I've never heard of before, and the fact that it was called a "Mud Masque" was what really got me.

Fortunatly, you get a lot of product for your money. 8 ounces cost only $5.00 USD.
Quite a steal!
Unfortunatly, I'm not quite sure where the term "Mud Masque" comes in. This is a simply a deep conditioner. Its a little gimmicky of them to include that if it is infact just a conditioner.
It doesn't contain anything to even do with mud. It claims to contain dead sea minerals, but I found that it also has coconut milk and panthenol (Vitamins!) Which are both great for your hair.
It also smells lovely, it reminds me of the scent of a salon!

To use this, you simply apply it after shampooing, leave it in for 3 to 5 minutes and rinse it out.
After doing so, my hair felt amazing. It was so easy to brush through, and there was virtually not a single tangle or snag in my hair.
When my hair dried, it was the softest and smoothest its been in a while, without loads of products in it.

My only disappointment in this product is the parabens. I hate when companies use them, especially with their lingering dangers.
I'm not one that's overly cautious, which is why I picked this up, but be warned if you are.

Overall, I'm really satisfied with this product! It's both affordable and works wonders in your hair. If you're a fan of deep conditioners, definitely check this one out!

Own Renewing Skin Care Review

Hi everyone! I'm sorry I havn't posted in a few days, I've been very busy and havn't had the time. Work has become very demanding, and when I'm not working, I'm usually sleeping because I'm exhausted from work. Again, I'm sorry and I hope that I can keep up better!

Today I'm reviewing a whole product line. The line is by Own Skincare, and it is their Renewing line. Personally, I'd never heard of Own until they contacted me, but I'm so glad that they did! I was lucky enough to able to try the Refining Moisture Night Cream, Firming Silk Concentrate, Lifting Eye Cream, Rejuvenating Cleanser, and Dual Protecting Day Lotion. I've been extremely pleased with the results I've achieved using these products.

Refining Moisture Night Cream:
What Own Says: Own RENEWING is the first triple-action Night Cream with CLA Plant Technology to fight all three causes of aging. CLA renews, retexturizes, and reveals a vibrant and youthful looking complexion. Refining Moisture Night Cream restores optimal moisture and reveals radiant looking skin.

When it comes to anti aging products, I'm not even close to needing them yet. But I love this cream because it deeply moisturizes my skin. It has helped rid of my dry patches and my skin truly does look more radiant and illuminated. It has a light scent of green tea, so be warned if you have sensitive skin. All the other products in this line are unscented.
Dermatologist tested, Paraben and Sulfate free, Triple-Action Plant Techology, Luxurious, non-greasy, soothing.
Price: $25.00 / 1.7 oz

Dual Protecting Day Lotion:
What Own Says: Dual protection from inside out. Mineral sunscreen provides UV Protection while natural barely and sandalwood extracts work to strengthen and hydrate skin. Sheer coverage makes a perfect dual-protector for youthful looking skin.

I adore this lotion for day time use. My favorite thing about it is that it doesn't give the skin a white cast like many SPF products often can. I think this one will be even better in the summer, due to the SPF. Its a very light-weight, non greasy lotion and it feel luxurious on the skin. It is also fragrance free (Great for sensitive skin!) The only thing I dislike about this product is the packaging. It looks like a great concept, but the lotion is not smooth and creamy, so the pump isn't able to dispense any product. I find myself having to unscrew the top just to use it, which is very inconvenient.
Dermatologist tested, Fragrance free, Mineral UV Protection, Lightweight, non greasy.

Lifting Eye Cream:
What Own Says: Own RENEWING is the first triple-action Eye Cream with CLA Plant Technology to fight all three causes of aging. CLA renews, lifts and reveals youthful looking eyes. Helps to erase the look of wrinkles and tired skin. Lifitng Eye Cream will create smooth, firm and youthful looking eyes.

The Lifting Eye Cream is a beautiful, smooth cream that I have been using every night to make my eyes look more awake. As I mentioned, I've been working non-stop and hate the look of tired eyes. This cream really does the job to lift them and diminish the tired look. I also have seen a difference in my fine lines since using this cream. It leaves the skin soft, smooth and replenished.
Dermatologist tested, Fragrance Free, Triple-Action Plant Technology, Quick absorbing, velvet finish.
Price: $24.00 / .5 oz

Firming Silk Concentrate:
What Own Says: Own RENEWING is the first no-water Concentrate Serum with CLA Plant Technology to fight all three causes of aging. CLA renews, retexturizes, and reveals a vibrant and youthful looking complexion. Firming Silk Concentrate serum fortifies skin by creating tone and luminosity. Skin appears firm, resiliant, and radiant.

I think this is my favorite product out of the bunch. You apply it while skin is still moist from cleansing (Probably to help it absorb), on the face and neck. It leaves my skin softer than its ever been. Its also been helping even out my complexion and firm my skin. The packaging on this again, is beautiful and a lovely concept, but not practical. It is similar to a medicine dropper, making the bottle prone to spillage.
Dermatologist Tested, Fragrance Free, Triple-Action Plant Technology, Silky, Light Radiant.
Price: $24.00 / 1 oz

Rejuvenating Cleanser:
I adore this cleanser, mainly because it is so gentle. It has a light green tea scent, similar to the moisturizer from this line, which is very relaxing and nice. The cleanser itself doesn't foam that well, but it throughly removes makeup and dirt. I have found the cleanser to be very moisturizing, but it doesn't leave any residue on the skin.
Price: $15.00 / 5 ounces

Overall I've been really enjoying this product line!
I've been using it for about a week now, and already have seen dramatic results.
Although its pricey, It's absolutly worth the money!
You can see all these products (And more!) at!

Disclaimer: These products was provided to me for review purposes only. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.

Products I Use To Fight Acne Breakouts

I'm almost certain I've told you all this before, but I've always struggled with a bit of acne. Now, I don't have a lot of it or anything serious, but I do get some painful spots quite often- about three or four at a time. I also get some smaller spots all around my face and numerous blackheads. My skin is naturally combination/oily, but from all of the acne treatments I've been using, its become very dry and sometimes to the point where it peels. For a long time now I've been trying to find products that will work for my skin in getting rid of the acne. Its embarassing when I get the spots so large that concealer can't even cover them, and it worsens around that time of the month. Luckily, I've recently stumbled across some products that seem to really be doing the trick for me. I wanted to share them with you all in case any of you struggle with the same issues and want to try some new things the help clear up your acne. Please keep in mind though, what works for my skin type may not work for everyone elses.

Nature By Canus All Natural Hydrating Facial Scrub:
I really love this scrub because it is so gentle. It's not an acne fighting cleanser or anything like that, but it is great for acne because it is so natural and gentle. The scrubs in it are so tiny that they barely exfoliate, but they do help your face feel very clean. This removes makeup very well, which can sometimes be the underlying cause of acne. I've learned that I need to wash my face, not just use makeup wipes, in order to clean everything out. This cleanser also has no colors, fragrances, phosphates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, or sls. Perfect for anyone with sensitive skin.

CVS Pharmacy Brand Acne Treatment Cream:
When I use this product, I use it as a spot treatment. It contains 10% Benzoyl Peroxide, which is extremely drying. I apply this at night to a pimple, and it helps dry it up in the morning. If you use this all over your face, it will dry it out and it is not recommended for those with very sensitive skin.

Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash:
I've done a full and lengthy review on this product and if you are interested in reading it, you can access it here. But to summarize it, I love this wash. I've lately been using it more as a mask in the shower, since it doesn't lather. I apply it all over my face and wait a few minutes, then rinse. This really reduces the redness in my pimples and helps them go down in size. It has a nice tingly feeling as well which feels great and lets you know that it is working.

Derma E Very Clear Problem Skin Moisturizer:
This is a recent discovery of mine at Marshalls. I've always heard great things about the Derma E brand, so when I found a moisturizer by them specifically for problem skin, I knew it was something I had to try out. It has great ingredients such as tea tree oil, chamomile and lavender. I apply it mornings and night to my face and neck. It is a little difficult to get the product to absorb well, so it takes a little bit of rubbing it in, but the results are worth it. I've found that this keeps my breakouts at bay and also helps with redness. The only two downsides I've found in this product are the smell and the price. It smells strongly medicated due to the tea tree oil, but its completely natural, so I don't think it will irritate sensitive skin. As for the price, If you were to buy this regular price, it would be about $20.00. Luckily, a jar will last about four months.

Mineral From the Dead Sea Derma Repair Acneclear Antibacterial Antioxidant Toner:
I love this stuff. Most toners you find that are aimed towards acne contain Salicylic acid, which is extremely drying when applied all over the skin. This toner's main ingredient is Triclosan, which is an antibacterial. It doesn't dry out my skin, and it destroys acne causing bacteria. It also contains many skin conditioning agents, so it keeps my skin soft. This is another pricey product at almost $20.00 a bottle, but if you really struggle with acne, its worth trying out.

As mentioned, these products are what have really been working for my skin, but I'm always looking to try out other products that work when these run out, so if you know any, let me know in the comments.

Hey loves! Hope your weekend was well and you enjoyed the last days of summer! I can't even remember the last time I posted a haul on here, so I figured I would show you a few things I've picked up over the last week and have really been enjoying! Since it's the end of summer, everywhere is trying to get rid of all of their summer clothing. This is when I take full advantage of the sales, so I picked up two super cute, Summery dresses from Kohl's on clearance. I think they will both look lovely going to the beach with a cute pair of sandals and a bathing suit. I scored both for under ten dollars each! I also picked up a lovely mint and white scarf for only five dollars from Walmart. Mint is my favorite color and I knew I had to have it the moment I saw it! Now only to find the perfect outfit to pair it with!

This week, CVS was also having buy one get one half off on Physicians Formula and Maybelline, so I was able to take advantage of another great sale! I purchased the concealer because I'm currently running out of the one I've been using and am looking into new ones to find something I love. I also havn't been able to take my eyes off of the "Nude" Palette since I appeared in drugstores and I was so happy to be able to pick it up. I also picked up some other beauty goodies that I'm sure you will be hearing about in reviews and such sooner or later!

The candle I have featured I got from Bath and Body Works for half price (See, I told you I LOVE sales!) and it smells like heaven! I'll give you the short description of it so you can see exactly what I mean by heaven! "Just like the perfect ice cream sundae -- creamy vanilla, rich toffee and sweet almond blossom with a cherry on top." Even though it's one of their Summer candles, I know that I'll be able to enjoy this one all year round!

Have you hauled anything lately? Please feel free to share your own goodies and what you have picked up!
